Your Impactful Responsibilities
As a CNA at Ridgewood, you are the heartbeat of our resident care. Your daily contributions include:
Holistic Patient Care: Skillfully and compassionately assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). This includes personal hygiene (bathing/dressing), serving and assisting with nutritional meals, and ensuring resident comfort through safe ambulation, turning, and positioning.
Vigilant Observation: Act as the "eyes and ears" of the clinical team. Monitor residents for any physical or behavioral changes and communicate effectively with the nursing staff to ensure proactive care.
Precise Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic records of resident care, intake/output, and daily observations, ensuring all data meets clinical standards.
Sanitary & Safe Environment: Proactively maintain clean, organized, and safe living conditions, ensuring that resident rooms and common areas meet our high standards of excellence.
Regulatory Excellence: Perform all duties in strict accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, maintaining the highest levels of resident confidentiality and dignity.
Collaborative Teamwork: Enthusiastically support your peers and participate in facility initiatives as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Must possess an Active Wisconsin CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in good standing.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Compliance: Successful completion of all state-required healthcare worker background checks and screenings.
Clinical Skills: Previous experience in long-term care or sub-acute rehabilitation is a plus, but we welcome passionate new graduates!
Tech Savvy: Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
Soft Skills: A collaborative spirit, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a genuine love for the geriatric population.
