Job Summary:

At IL11, SYNERGY HomeCare of Gurnee, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Caregiver to join our team of caregivers. As a Male Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients in their homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed

  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry

  • Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed

  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to the office

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a caregiver

  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift, bend, and move clients as needed

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
