Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents and patients

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards of care

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional patient care

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and coach staff members to improve skills and performance

  • Develop and manage unit budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse, with prior leadership or management experience preferred

  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care and rehabilitation facilities
