We are currently in need of a caregiver, CNA, PCT, or Direct Support Professional to service a client in The Woodlands, TX area.
Job Description:
As a Caregiver or personal assistant specializing in fall preventions, transfer-needs, bathing, meal preparation, and other client-related duties, you will be responsible for supporting client in their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your role will involve creating a supportive and engaging environment, tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and manage medication schedules as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Implement and adapt care plans to accommodate changes in the client's condition.
- Engage clients in activities and exercises designed to stimulate cognitive function and promote well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in caregiving with a focus on fall-prevention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
- Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to improving clients' quality of life.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Our clients need to be provided transportation to outings, doctor's appointments, etc.
