Pay Rate: $50/hr

RN/ Registered Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities

· Currently holds an active state issued RN license

· CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted)

· Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility

Take and record vital signs, collect samples for lab testing.
Administer medications and perform approved procedures and care.
Monitor patient condition and compose patient charts, accurately record medical histories.
Provide supervision and support to other nurse staff when necessary

Attends and participates in the unit activities such as therapy groups, family meetings as appropriate, staffing, unit meetings, etc. · Provides education/explanation to clients, families, and co-workers regarding medication usage/maintenance, common side effects, client's rights, as well as other topics necessary for optimal client care. · Monitors client acuity, census, staffing needs, and makes arrangements for coverage as needed, following established guidelines. · Assures thorough, accurate documentation is completed for all clients on each shift and client assignment sheets are completed daily and tasks are carried out as assigned. · Gives thorough report to oncoming staff, supervisors, and physician. · Provides coverage in emergency services as needed. This role receives two types of compensation depending on the work being performed. When conducting visits, you will be paid per visit point rate compensation. Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of 'direct' and 'indirect' patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs.
