We are currently accepting applications for Caregivers for all schedule types!
- Full Time: 30+ hours per week - provide open availability including options to work selected weekends if needed
- Part Time: 15 - 20 hours per week! Part time schedules are available to be flexible as a second job, or to help work around your personal schedule!
- PRN: flexible schedules to accept shifts as needed or as available! PRN schedules are perfect for those caregivers who currently have other clients with schedules that frequently change, or employees who just want to be able to work when they want!
- On Call: flexible schedules to be available for any staffing emergencies or unforeseen call outs! On call schedules are perfect for those caregivers who currently have other clients with schedules that frequently change, or employees who just want to be able to work when they want! On Call caregivers receive an hourly base pay for being available throughout the day and then receive a higher pay rate for when they are called in to work a shift. On Call caregivers are also offered mileage reimbursement when needing to drive to an emergency client shift.

Job Description Summary A Home Care Aide is an individual authorized to provide nonmedical services and assistance to an elderly or disabled client. Care Is usually provided at the person’s home, hospital, or facility. Nurse Next Door affiliated home care aides shall be selected on the basis of such factors as a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick, ability to carry out directions, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. All affiliated Home care aides employed by Nurse Next Door to provide in-home care services will be 18 years old (or if under 18 years of age be a high school graduate or enrolled in a vocational education program) and have sufficient communication and language skills to enable them to perform their duties and interact effectively with clients and other agency staff. Home care aides must meet all registration, criminal background checks and training requirements as specified by the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau and Nurse Next Door policies.
