CNA/STNA – Full-Time Day Shift | The Enclave at Cambridge

The Enclave at Cambridge, a skilled nursing and long-term care community located at 8420 Georgetown Rd, Cambridge, OH 43725, is hiring full-time CNA/STNAs for the day shift. If you are a compassionate caregiver who enjoys building relationships and keeping residents engaged throughout the day, this role is for you.

Schedule

  • Full-Time Day Shift

  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (adjust if your facility uses 8s)

  • Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

  • Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.

  • Help residents with morning and daytime routines, including getting up, mealtime preparation, and evening preparation for shift change.

  • Foster social engagement by assisting residents to activities, meals, and common areas during the day.

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nurse promptly.

  • Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as assigned.

  • Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas.

  • Respond quickly and courteously to call lights and resident requests.

  • Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies.

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio STNA certification required (or CNA with ability to obtain Ohio STNA).

  • Listed in good standing on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.

  • Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred but not required – will train the right candidate.

  • Ability to work full-time day shift (7 AM – 7 PM) including every other weekend.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, turning, and prolonged standing.
