Responsibilities:

Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants
Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies
Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Valid Nursing License as required by the state
Ability to work every other weekend
Compliance with the state's Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and able to handle stress
Must be energetic, professional, and reliable
