Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. As a CNA, you will provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of your responsibilities and perform tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. Principal Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and receive nursing report upon reporting for duty and document information accurately

  • Assist with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.

  • Assist residents in ambulation with or without self-help devices as instructed

  • Accurately measure and record temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructed

  • Provide personal care (i.e. Grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing), and observation of residents within patient care guidelines

  • Report all allegations of resident abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of resident property

  • Provides range of motion exercises and assists with feeding as indicated

  • Delivers and documents all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplements

  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as required by policy or nurse supervisor

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to dust, chemicals, or noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands of this position require regular talk or hearing, frequent use of hands or fingers, and ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and pull/push.
