Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitative needs are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer enteral feedings, oral medications, injectable medications, and intravenous treatments as prescribed by the physician and per facility policy

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medication and treatment administration

• Collaborate with nursing assistants to complete resident care tasks within established time frames

• Perform and co-responsible for narcotic counts as per Resident Care policies and procedures

• Dispense medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the physician within established time frames

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records

• Perform other related duties as requested or required

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• College degree or equivalent in work-related experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing

• Active state LVN license

• Listed in good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry

• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care (preferred)

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
