Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitative needs are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer enteral feedings, oral medications, injectable medications, and intravenous treatments as prescribed by the physician and per facility policy
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medication and treatment administration
Collaborate with nursing assistants to complete resident care tasks within established time frames
Perform and co-responsible for narcotic counts as per Resident Care policies and procedures
Dispense medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the physician within established time frames
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
Perform other related duties as requested or required
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
College degree or equivalent in work-related experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing
Active state LVN license
Listed in good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry
Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care (preferred)
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
