We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer enteral feedings, injectable, and intravenous medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice as prescribed by the physician and per facility policy
Ensure all aspects of delivery of care to residents by nursing assistants are completed within established time frames according to Resident Care policies and procedures
Perform and co-responsible for narcotic counts as per Resident Care policies and procedures
Dispense medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the physician within established time frames
Document medication and treatment administration in a timely and accurate manner
Complete and update Electronic documentation as required
Maintain and update Nursing license in compliance with state regulations
Perform other related duties as required or requested
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
College degree or the equivalent in work-related experience
Must be graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing
Must have active state LVN license
Must be listed in good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry
Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care is strongly preferred
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
