About the Role:

As an Every Other Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and supporting our nursing team. Your warm and empathetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for our residents, and your attention to detail will ensure that their needs are met with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to our residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Support our nursing team with medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and resident transportation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere within the center
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Connecticut
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work every other weekend and occasional holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and attention to safety
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
