Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support:

Assist RNs, LPNs, and therapists with patient coordination

Take and record vital signs when permitted

Assist with intake, consents, and patient documentation

Communicate with physicians’ offices for orders and signatures

Handle phone calls professionally with patients, families, and providers

Support compliance with HIPAA, AHCA, and Medicare guidelines

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA preferred)

Bilingual: English & Spanish (required or strongly preferred)

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and home health processes (preferred)

Experience with EMR systems

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
