We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Advance. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring each resident's comfort and dignity. We have flexible 8hr & 12hr Shifts available to join us!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.

  • Take and record vital signs, reporting changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.

  • Provide comfort and emotional support to residents, ensuring their well-being and respect for dignity.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; adhere to infection control policies.

  • Accurately record and report care activities in compliance with facility standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid license in Missouri.

  • Previous experience in a long-term care facility or similar environment is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work well in a team.

  • Ability to lift/move residents as needed, stand/walk for extended periods.

Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA provides both direct and indirect patient care using established nursing assistant procedures and techniques. Prior hospital or acute care experience is strongly preferred, as this role requires efficiency, critical thinking, and comfort working in a dynamic emergency setting. Essential Functions Assists in providing direct patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse within the scope of the CNA licensure. Perform basic technical skills which may include, CPR; taking and recording vital signs; measuring and recording fluid intake/output; applying dressings; recognizing and reporting signs and symptoms of common diseases or conditions; administering treatments as directed by a physician or nurse. Assists patient with personal care which may include bathing; mouth and skin care; grooming and dressing; toileting assistance; eating and hydration.
