Nursing is what we do! University Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking an LPN or RN House Supervisor for our 126 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Durham. This hours for this position are 3p-11p.

The House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN or LPN and have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor as well as experience in acute setting.
