We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to-promote patient’s being-by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsPerform routine procedures (bloods pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s ordersInspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety
Provide instant medical care in emergenciesSupervise and train the nursing assistants
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsible and compassionate
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
Valid nursing license in the state of Wisconsin

Primary care is the first point of contact in health care and our family medicine physicians are here to care for your entire family. Our clinic is conveniently located at the corner of Ryan Road and Howell Avenue in Oak Creek. The building consists of three floors, each designed to support a wide range of patient needs: First Floor: Home to our pharmacy, urgent care, laboratory services, and X‑ray imaging. This level provides quick access for patients seeking immediate care or diagnostic services. Second Floor: Dedicated to primary care and our rotating specialty clinics. Patients can be seen for routine health needs as well as more specialized medical concerns. She is committed to building long‑term relationships with her patients and supporting their health at every stage of life. **POSITION OPEN DUE TO GROWTH** Major Responsibilities: Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting/updating pertinent health information (i.e. chief complaint, allergies, medications). Performs laboratory procedures (i.e. strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions / infection control guidelines. Assists the physician/provider with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc. Administers medications, under physician/provider orders, including immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, and insulin. With limitations, initiates, maintains and discontinues IV therapy: administering selected fluids with pre-mixed medications.
