Reports observations of the patient to the nurse caring for the patient to ensure professional assessment. Promptly answers patient's call lights and requests, responding in a tactful, courteous, nonjudgmental manner. Respects patient need for privacy, explains cares to the patient, and treat the patient as an individual with dignity. Maintains patient confidentiality. Instills confidence in the patient by maintaining a neat and attractive appearance and performing duties in a competent and caring manner. Demonstrates proficiency in regards to the computer documentation of patient cares and any other related computerized patient information/documentation. Performs documentation timely, accurately and thoroughly according to standards. Utilizes resources and materials in an efficient and safe manner. Consistently washes hands before and after patient care/contact and maintains isolation techniques as warranted. Perform other duties as requested. Position Requirements: High school graduate preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant certification required. BLS within 3 months of hire. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
