Job Description: RN Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

About Us

We are a reputable and growing homecare agency based in Parsippany, NJ, dedicated to providing high‑quality and compassionate care to our clients. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated RN Assistant to support our Director of Nursing (DON) and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations in our clinical department.

Position Overview

The RN Assistant will work closely with our DON to provide administrative and light clinical support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable interacting with clients over the phone and in person.

We are open to part-time or full-time candidates. Applicants must be able to commit to at least three full days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily administrative tasks
• Scan, file, and organize client documentation
• Make client phone calls, including 30‑day follow‑up calls
• Potentially conduct 60‑day visits (training provided if needed)
• Maintain accurate client records and communication logs
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and general office support
• Providing client information to CHHA's
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and families
• Support overall clinical and office workflow as needed

Requirements

• Prior homecare or healthcare office experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Comfortable making client phone calls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, compassionate, and client‑focused demeanor
• Basic computer proficiency (scanning, filing, EMR use—training provided)
• Must be able to work at least 3 full days weekly
