We are seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at our Woodholme community. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about senior care and committed to providing safe, high-quality medication administration.

Certification Requirement (Maryland Compliance)

To be considered, you must have:

  • Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing

  • Ability to safely administer medications under RN delegation in accordance with Maryland regulations

Candidates without an active CMT certification will not be considered for this role.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders and state guidelines

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Document medication administration and care services in a timely manner

  • Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing leadership

  • Support implementation of individualized care plans

  • Provide compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and supportive environment

CERTIFIED MEDICATION TECHNICIAN Copper Ridge is looking for Certified Medication Technicians to provide medication administration to our residents and to provide the upmost care. The CMT will ensure all medications are being stored, labeled, and administered properly with the highest level of safety and quality. A CMT works under the discretion of the delegating nurse.
