The RN Case Manager job duties can include, but are not limited to:

  1. Completing an initial assessment of patient and family to determine hospice care needs

Maintains departmental on-call responsibilities during off-shifts, weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis . Is able to effectively manage the team work concept and remains flexible in response to changes. On-call is required . The average amount of on-call is 4-5 shifts per month. Weekday hours will be either 5:30 pm-11 pm or 11pm-6 am and weekend and holidays are 7am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am. You are paid an hourly on-call rate, and if called in, you will be paid time and a half. Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN preferred Previous Endoscopy, ED, Surgical &/or ICU/CCU experience preferred Previous IV insertion experience preferred. Previous experience with Procedural Sedation preferred Certification/License: Current Massachusetts RN Licensure Basic Life Support ( AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) Pay Range: $36.00 - $79.12 This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
