What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Patient Care: Greet patients, take vitals, and collect medical history.
  • Clinical Support: Perform phlebotomy, injections, and assist in medical exams/procedures.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and help keep the clinic organized.
  • Be a Team Player: Support your colleagues and contribute to a great patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Experience with EMRs & medical terminology
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • A proactive, patient-focused approach to care
  • A willingness to learn and grow

Bonus Skills: Phlebotomy, CCME experience, or subcutaneous injections!

RESPONSIBILITIES Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred. High school diploma or GED is required and will be required to produce at time of hire. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). This is a FLOAT position that will travel to multiple clinics in the north Florida area. Clinics floating to are Fleming Island, Gainesville, Palatka, and Lake City. We offer travel reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, and float pay.
