As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Modesto, CA. 


  • Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
  • Provide PRN coverage for PTO, call-offs, and increased clinic volume as needed
  • Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as needed
  • Assist with occupational health services including injury care, drug screenings, and wellness screenings
What You’ll Do
  • Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
  • Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required 
  • At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
