We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Las Vegas, NV to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

 

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence.  The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.  We are flexible with your schedule needs, so this is a great opportunity for those looking to pick up extra hours or build a schedule outside of other engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting
  • Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care
  • Provide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological support
  • Adhere to the patient’s established plan of care
  • Execute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record
  • Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care
  • Remind patient of and administer medication as prescribed
  • Maintain records and documentation of daily services
  • Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient


Minimum Qualifications
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • TB test & physical examination
  • Ability to monitor vital signs
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients
  • Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions


Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience working in a clinical or home health setting.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a clinical or home health setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • 1+year of caregiving experience

$1000 bonus for all successful hires after 90 days of successfully working with your cases
