RESPONSIBILITIES
With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Companionship
  • Light cooking and cleaning
  • Bathing, grooming and toileting
  • Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
  • Transportation for appointments and errands

This is an excellent role for a nursing student, those desiring to work in healthcare, or those wanting to offer excellent customer service. QMAPs are responsible for providing hands-on care for residents in an Assisted Living setting. Full-Time Shifts Available: Days Thursday - Saturday Wage Range: $18 - $25 / hour depending on experience Location: 31383 Frost Way, Evergreen, Colorado 80439 Caregiver/QMAP Responsibilities: Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. Here at A Place At Home - Denver Metro South, our goal is to provide compassionate care wherever it is needed. We do this by hiring passionate professionals with a variety of skills. We understand that our clients have the desire to stay in the comfort of their home. And it is our mission to keep them happy and at their own home as long as possible. Position Overview: Caregivers are a licensed or non-licensed member of the home care team. The caregiver is responsible for the basic daily care of the client. Caregivers will help maintain care records for the client and communicate with other members of the care team. We are a home healthcare company so you would drive to our clients homes to care for them. We try to keep our Caregivers within a 20-mile radius of their home. We offer health insurance, flexible schedules, PTO, and training on site as well as online (which you can earn college credit for!). Our office is currently in Englewood, and, we have clients all over Colorado. We strive to keep our clients happy and that starts with our caregivers. Caregivers report to the Operations Manager. Responsibility of a Caregiver: Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental conditions, intake/output, and reports any changes to their direct supervisor. Provides personal services such as bathing, dressing and grooming. Teaches clients how to use cane or walker, special utensils to eat, techniques and equipment for personal hygiene. Assist in planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements as outlined in the client’s care plan. If necessary, the Caregiver will help with client feedings. Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Explains the necessary procedure to the client prior to performing it.
