Harmony At Home Senior Care is currently hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a client located in Dallas who is currently undergoing cancer treatments.

This client is looking for more than just assistance with daily tasks—she needs a caregiver with a positive attitude, strong reliability, and genuine companionship during an important and challenging season of life. The ideal caregiver will be encouraging, patient, emotionally supportive, and able to provide a calm and uplifting presence throughout the day.

What You’ll Actually Do:

As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll help support the client’s comfort, routine, and emotional well-being while assisting with daily activities and companionship.

Daily Living & Personal Care

  • Assist with personal hygiene

  • Provide safe mobility support and walking assistance as needed

  • Monitor and report any changes in condition or behavior

Homemaking & Environment Support

  • Tidy and maintain the client’s home environment

  • Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, organizing, and general upkeep

  • Help maintain a clean, peaceful, and safe living space

Meal Support & Nutrition

  • Prepare simple meals and snacks based on dietary preferences and needs

  • Encourage hydration and healthy eating habits

  • Assist with meal reminders and routine support throughout the day

Reminders & Routine Assistance

  • Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)

  • Help maintain daily schedules, appointments, hydration, and rest routines

  • Provide dependable consistency and structure day-to-day

Companionship & Emotional Support

  • Offer meaningful companionship and conversation throughout the shift

  • Provide encouragement and emotional support during cancer treatments

  • Engage in hobbies, activities, or relaxing conversation to help brighten the client’s day

  • Be a reliable, uplifting, and trusted presence the client can count on

Documentation & Communication

  • Accurately complete daily care notes and updates

  • Maintain communication with the care coordination team

  • Follow care plans and agency policies professionally
