We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and flexible PRN Caregivers (Shift Officers) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for experienced caregivers who are adaptable and willing to assist with a variety of client needs and schedules. Shift Officers play an important role in ensuring continuity of care by filling open shifts, assisting with urgent coverage needs, and providing high-quality support to our clients in their homes.
The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, caring, and able to respond to changing schedules when needed.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate in-home care to clients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Toileting
Mobility assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Meal preparation and light housekeeping
Medication reminders
Transportation and errands, if needed
Accurately document client care and report concerns
Be available for flexible scheduling and occasional last-minute shift coverage
Maintain professionalism and excellent communication with clients, families, and office staff
Qualifications
Previous caregiving or home care experience required
CNA certification preferred but not required
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Ability to pass background check
Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
Flexible availability, including weekends or evenings when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to different client environments
