Department Details This Med/Surg unit specializes in Neurovascular, Neurosurgery, and Neurological patients. We are an Accredited Stroke Center as well as a Level I Trauma Center. This unit thrives on teamwork and is a positive culture and environment with ability to build on nursing skills. We allow the opportunity for self-scheduling options. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
