Registered Nurse (RN) Relief (Per-Diem) - Neonatal, ICU (NICU)

$61.91 - $88.55 / hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Functions at the Standard Level of clinical nursing practice. Primarily responsible for providing meal period relief to one or more satellite locations. Responsible for providing patient care and supervision while assigned bedside RN is away from department. Responsible to independently applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. Selects and administers the appropriate care, taking into consideration the age, developmental level and size of the patient. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Should be able to identify own limitations and seek resources as needed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree

2 years of experience

California RN License

BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)

CA Driver's License

Proof of Auto Insurance

For all areas other than NICU: PALS or PEARS (American Heart Association)(within 6 months of hire)

NICU: NRP Advanced Provider (AAP)

Required to float to all licensed RCHSD designated areas of specialty, i.e. NICU Satellite units

The current salary range for this position is $61.91 to $88.55
