Essential Responsibilities

Facilitates programs based on organizational needs in relation to recruitment. 30.Provides information, interpretation and guidance to nurses regarding Informatics 31.Serves as a resource and liaison for the documentation, implementation, design and continuous maintenance of clinical information systems 32.Serves as content expert for electronic applications for areas served 33.Assists and supports system implementations and the roll out of new applications and system enhancements 34.Provides guidance in the use of clinical information systems 35.Reviews clinical information system related to areas served for content updates for nursing practice and regulatory requirements 36.Teaches informatics classes for orientation and implementation of new applications 37.Serves as super-user for electronic applications appropriate to assigned areas 38.Assists with monitoring and education within the clinical specialty to ensure quality care and quality outcomes are met in a cost-effective manner 39.Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Details: Our company is continuing to grow and we're looking for Per Diem Infusion RNs to support our centers throughout Palm Springs. What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay between$54- $58, with variations based on experience andexpertise. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Associate Degree in Nursingrequired; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings. Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Valid RN License. Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification. Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Computer literacy, includingproficiencyin Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and patient interaction. Recent IV experience. Essential Functions: Welcome patients and escort them to their private infusion rooms. Educate patients about their treatments and address any concerns about adverse reactions. Administer prescribed medications andestablishIV access, including central lines. Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments. EnsureaccurateandtimelyEMR documentation. Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively. Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked. Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
