Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Professional Educator License with School Nurse Endorsement (SN) and/or Registered Nurse (RN) certification
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Legal Nurse, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials are valued
  • Experience providing healthcare support at the elementary or middle school level
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, the IEP (Individualized Education Program) process
  • Previous work in meeting the diverse medical needs of children
  • Understanding of the role of public schools in economic and community development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Willingness to learn and implement a play-based evaluation model
