Job Requirements

Our Registered Nurses provide high quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient. This role is all about the relationships and bond you will create with patients and their families.

Work Experience

Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); three year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
Registered Nurse License in the state of practice.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
Previous dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Assess vital signs including, pain scale, fatigue and distress at each visit. Reconcile patient home medication list in the EMR at each visit. 6.Follow OSHA regulations regarding safe handling of chemotherapy and hazardous drugs including using proper PPE at all times with proper disposal of hazardous drugs Required Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program 1-3 years of related experience Required License/Certifications Vailed RN license for the State of Texas CHEMO/BIOE Therapy certification; BLS within 30 days of hire (ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration within 12 months of hire for Outpatient Infusion Clinics)
