Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

Current license to practice nursing in Washington (or eligible to receive or renew).
Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient/detox setting.
Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation Certifications, which are provided during Fairfax new hire training.

Transplant Coordinator RN

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Transplant Coordinator RN, you will coordinate all aspects of renal and pancreas transplants and support daily functioning of the transplant section. Living Donor Coordination: Manage pre- and post-donation activities, including patient and family communication, education, and coordination of medical testing and follow-up care. Provide support in the operating room, including packaging kidneys for transplant. Offer ongoing support and education to living donors throughout the donation process. Post-Transplant Recipient Coordination: Conduct inpatient rounds and manage discharge planning for transplant patients. Serve as a liaison between inpatient and outpatient areas, as well as other disciplines. Perform post-operative assessments in the clinic to monitor patient progress. Facilitate safe transitions of care for patients returning to their referring providers. Triage patients throughout the post-transplant period to ensure long-term health and safety.
