As the Unit Manager LVN at Williamsburg Village Healthcare Campus in DeSoto, TX, you will assist the Director of Nurses in overseeing and managing an assigned unit or assigned programs to ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures, regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
Monitors and oversees the infection control program for the facility, which includes but is not limited to completing the infection control logs, conducting quality assurance rounds and auditing charts for compliance.
Monitors and oversees the facility accident/incident prevention program, which includes but is not limited to reviewing accident and incident reports for completeness and accuracy, conducting post-accident investigations, ensuring residents care plan are reflective of interventions and completing accident/incident logs.
Monitors and oversees the restraint reduction program for the facility.
Monitors and oversees the bowel and bladder program for the facility.
Participates in nursing management on-call rotation.
Other duties as assigned.
Reviewing all physician orders and conducting audits to ensure medication has been ordered, lab has been ordered, proper transcription of orders, appropriate documentation and appropriate team members have received communication of order changes as needed.
Auditing new admission medical records for compliance with admission paperwork.
Auditing MARS, TARS and ADL books for compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Current, valid licensure as an LVN.
Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
Management/Supervisory experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
Strong written and verbal skills required
