We are seeking a full-time or part-time CNA for our Goleta program working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations providing services, insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
The certified nursing assistant position provides quality nursing care to individuals served in accordance to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Duties include but are not limited to the following: assist individuals with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, incontinence care; transfers, lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting divides for accident prevention; communicates effectively and tactfully with individuals served, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors; is knowledgeable of individualized care plans and provides support according to the individual's care plan.
Part-time and full-time positions available. Part-time must be available to work a minimum of three shifts per week, including one weekend shift.
Current shifts available: Saturday/Sunday: 7am-3pm, Sunday-Saturday: 3pm-11pm, and Friday/Saturday: 11pm-7am
Wages: $21-$22/hour

Qualifications
EDUCATION: HS Diploma/GED, graduate of an approved C.N.A program, and valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in California
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year experience as a certified nursing assistant is preferred, but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license.
