Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a dependable, compassionate OnCall Caregiver to support clients across our Cuyahoga West and Lorain Counties service area. This role is ideal for a flexible caregiver who is comfortable stepping into assignments on short notice, across days, evenings, overnights, and weekends . To recognize your commitment to availability, this position offers guaranteed pay for 30 hours per week even if you are not scheduled or do not work the full 30 hours. What You’ll Do Provide personcentered inhome care including companionship, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Follow individualized care plans and document care provided using agency systems. Communicate promptly with the office regarding shift acceptance, client updates, changes in condition, and schedule status. Maintain professional boundaries, respect client rights and privacy, and uphold agency standards. Drive to client homes throughout the Cleveland West service area; adapt quickly to new home environments and care routines. Respond to oncall needs by accepting and working shortnotice or sameday shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule & Availability Oncall coverage required across all shifts (days/evenings/overnights) and weekends ; actual assignments will vary weektoweek based on client needs. Must be reachable by phone/text during assigned oncall periods and able to arrive at client shifts reliably and on time. Compensation Guaranteed pay: 30 hours/week at your base hourly rate, even if fewer hours are worked. Additional pay for hours worked beyond 30 hours/week at the same base rate.
