Serenity Hospice PA is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team serving Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide hands-on care and support to patients and families during an important stage of life.

Position Overview

The Hospice CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients receiving hospice services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team

  • Support patients and families with compassion and respect

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Follow individualized care plans

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (Pennsylvania)

  • Previous hospice or home health experience preferred, but not required

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach
