Your Role As a Nursing Assistant
  • Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help patients with mobility, including turning, positioning, and transferring.
  • Patient Comfort: Ensure patient comfort by providing clean linens, adjusting beds, and responding promptly to call lights.
  • Support Nursing Staff: Assist nurses with medical procedures and provide support during patient care activities.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
