Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Caregiver to join our team in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. As a Jr. CHAMP, you will work closely with our clients, providing high-quality, in-home care while also supporting and mentoring our junior caregivers. This is an excellent opportunity for you to grow into a leadership role while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional, compassionate in-home care to our clients
Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Support safe transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and sliding boards as needed
Adapt to various client environments and care needs
Maintain professionalism in every client home
Communicate effectively with office staff and support team members
Follow individualized care plans and document accurately

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of caregiving experience
Experience working with seniors in a home setting
Competent in using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and safe transfer techniques
Comfortable working in homes with pets and smoking environments
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
