LPN – ER (PRN, Varied Shift)

What You’ll Do
As an LPN in the Emergency Department, you’ll support patient care by performing focused assessments, collecting and comparing clinical data, and collaborating with RNs and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, appropriate interventions. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with RNs to implement and evaluate nursing care
- Conducting focused assessments and contributing to the overall patient evaluation
- Reassessing patients per Nursing Standards of Care and modifying care plans as needed
- Collecting and documenting patient data, noting changes from baseline and reporting appropriately
- Participating in care plan modification based on patient response and predicted outcomes
- Supporting safe, efficient emergency care in a high‑acuity, fast‑moving environment

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Licensure / Certification / Training
- Current Oklahoma LPN license required
- BLS required
- ALS required within six (6) months of employment
- De‑escalation (TEAM) training required within six (6) months
- Strongly encouraged to continue nursing education and pursue RN licensure
- Basic computer skills required
Experience
- Minimum 1 year full‑ or part‑time (20+ hours/week) hospital‑based experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced emergency environment
