Oakland Family Medicine
Oakland Family Medicine, part of the Primary Care Department at MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our well established, high volume outpatient practice conveniently located off I-95 in Oakland, Maine. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice full spectrum family medicine in a collaborative, patient centered environment.
Our incredible team provides comprehensive care across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adult medicine, gynecology, and geriatrics. APP's may also incorporate a variety of procedural interests — such as osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, minor surgery, and acupuncture — though these are optional. The ability to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder is available for those interested.
You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice practitioners, an on site PMHNP, care management, and counseling services.
• Provide full spectrum outpatient family medicine across all ages
• Deliver high quality, evidence based care in a team oriented environment
• Collaborate with behavioral health, care management, and other colleagues
Qualified candidates must:
• be a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine Physician
• have a strong commitment to compassionate, patient centered care
• be eager to work in a collaborative, team based primary care practice
• be open to practicing a broad scope of family medicine
