How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • The PRN Clinical Professional Development Educator facilitates New Associate Clinical Orientation, Patient Care Technician skills, market-wide classes, bootcamps, competency education, and virtual Basic Cardiac Rhythms courses across the Illinois Market.
  • This role supports residency and Practice Transition Accreditation Program seminars and graduation sessions, while assisting with onboarding, transition-to-practice, and retention initiatives.
  • The educator mentors new associates and transitioning caregivers, and collaborates with academic partners during high-volume student placement periods to support student provisioning and instructor onboarding across multiple sites.
  • Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current Illinois Registered Nurse license, though a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in education, onboarding, residency, adult learning, competency management, virtual teaching, or acting as a preceptor, alongside strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

Work Experience:

  • Required professional licensure at time of hire
