Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Under the direction of the Director and Charge Nurse, the RN delivers safe, patient-centered care while collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure & Certifications

Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS).

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of Critical Care nursing experience.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Assesses and manages patients’ response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy by following prescribed predetermined protocols and communicates patient related issues to the physician as needed. As a member of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, this position participates in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations.
