Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Piketon Nursing Center, where we treat our residents like family. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Conduct medical-forensic examinations in accordance with Kentucky and federal protocols. Collect, preserve, and document forensic evidence maintaining chain of custody. Perform detailed physical assessments and forensic photography as indicated. Administer medications per protocol (e.g., STI prophylaxis, emergency contraception). Provide patient education on treatment options, follow-up care, and community resources. Accurately and thoroughly document assessments, findings, patient statements, and care provided. Serve as an expert witness in legal proceedings when subpoenaed. Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements under Kentucky law.
