Job Summary:

SYNERGY HomeCare of Conover is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team as Companion Caregivers. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide meaningful companionship, social engagement, and non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Pay:

$15.50–$16.50 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, reliability, and availability.

Availability Requirement

Applicants must be available to work a variety of shifts, including daytime, evening, and occasional weekend hours. Flexible availability is strongly preferred to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction

• Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, activities, and community outings

• Assist with light housekeeping and household organization

• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping or errands

• Provide medication reminders

• Accompany clients to appointments and recreational activities

• Establish professional relationships with clients, families, and team members

• Observe and report changes in client condition or environment

• Provide reliable care by being punctual and dependable

Qualifications

• QualificationsCompassionate, dependable, and trustworthy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation preferred

• Ability to work independently in clients' homes

• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required

• Must successfully pass a background check

Important Note:

This is a non-medical home care position. Caregivers provide companionship, homemaker services, and assistance with activities of daily living that do not require skilled nursing services.
