Now Hiring: Caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise daily shifts, manage floor assignments, and handle staff call-outs.

   

• Training & Mentorship: Onboard, train, and shadow new caregiving staff.

   

• Direct Care: Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).

   

• Medication Passing: Administer or assist with medications according to MAR and state regulations.

   

• Reporting & Compliance: Monitor resident changes, update care plans, and ensure the team follows safety and state protocols.

   

• Shift Handovers: Lead briefings between shifts to pass on critical resident updates.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of caregiving experience (assisted living or memory care preferred).
• Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.
