·     Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

·    Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.

·       Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.

·       Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.

·         Other duties as needed.

 

Requirements:

 

Valid CNA certification required

Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred.

Previous experience working with people is desired.

Miami, FL Full-Time JS Emergency Room Summary Patient Care Associate 2 is a licensed member of the health care team who performs advanced, supportive administrative and certain clinical duties to support the delivery of age specific and a single standard of care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, for a group of patients relating to their hygiene, safety, nutrition, elimination and comfort needs. The position may require demonstrating knowledge and skills in specialty area. This is a Level 4 job in the nursing support ladder. Responsibilities Uses a systematic process to provide/modify care and patient/family education. Assists health care team with advanced procedure; prepares supplies equipment; provides patient/family support, assists in positioning patients, sets up/or remove equipment etc. Performs a variety of tasks associated with generalized patient care (vital signs, feeding, mobility, IV lines, drainage, personal hygiene: bath, dressing, bed making/linen changes etc.). Utilizes specialized equipment as needed when providing patient care (spirometer, restraints etc.). Prepares and cleans exam rooms, patient treatment areas and stretchers between patient use. Transports patients to and from treatment areas when needed. Cleans clinic area he/she is assigned to after patients treatment is finished at the end of day according to departmental procedures.
