This is a full-time position (72 hours every two weeks), working 12-hour day shifts, and located with the Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department that supports the entire Scripps Health system. SSRS Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) mus t be willing to work at all five (5) Scripps Health hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista. Role As a member of the SSRS team, you will fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego’s campus includes the O’Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit). This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period, every 2 weeks), position with 12-hour day shift schedule on variable days of the week which includes rotating weekends and holidays.
