ON CALL Caregiver

On-Call Policy Purpose of the On-Call Position: The purpose of the on-call position is to assist the agency with last minute staffing needs. This is accomplished by paying a qualified caregiver to be ready to pick-up last-minute assignments at any time, for a full week. The on-call person will be provided with a company vehicle and gas card for agency assignments. What does On-Call pay? · $14.00 MINIMUM per hourly shift, while on-call. · Incentive for guarantee of a minimum of 40 hours per week. · Live-In shifts pay at an hourly rate of $9.00/hour What are my duties? · Be available to take any assignment 24 hours a day for the full five days, Monday through Friday while you are on-call. · Attend scheduled staff meetings. · Take all precautions and practice safe driving techniques while operating a company vehicle. Always return vehicle to the office upon conclusion of scheduled shift. Calls from the office must be returned within 15 minutes. · The guarantee is for 40 hours a week. This guarantee is not $14/hour AND the incentive.
