Responsibilities:

Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, preparing lab specimens, and administering medications under the supervision of a physician
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms
Manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed
Provide education to patients regarding their medications and treatments
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care instructions

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current NJ Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in computer applications and the use of electronic health records
