What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing required
BSN preferred
Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
3 years of RN experience in an Telemetry setting preferred
Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required. If Compact RN license, must have TX RN license within 90 days of hire.

Your Role in the Unit: Provide expert care for patients with acute ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury (TBI), status epilepticus, and post-neurosurgical recovery. Perform frequent neurological assessments, monitor for signs of deterioration, and intervene rapidly to prevent secondary brain injury. Manage advanced therapies, including ventilators, continuous EEG, and vasoactive medications. Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, rehabilitation expectations, and recovery pathways. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
